Splitscreen has been an integral part of the Halo experience since the first game hit the original Xbox in 2001. However, due to technical limitations, the feature was removed from the latest game in the series, Halo 5: Guardians. According to a report from Spanish outlet Generacion Xbox, 343 Industries has obtained help from an external studio to work on animations in Halo Infinite, the upcoming and much anticipated next-gen iteration of the Xbox shooter franchise. The help comes from Sperasoft, a company some may be familiar with as it did work on animations in the lackluster, if not disappointing, 2017’s Mass Effect Andromeda from BioWare. While we don’t have doubts about the ability of this team to work on triple-A games, sure enough, this is something that could be concerning to Halo fans....
A new Halo: The Master Chief Collection update is now available for Xbox One users. Hey! Pikmin will hit Nintendo 3DS on July 28th. This game was previously announced for the 3DS, though it didn’t have an official title or release date at that point. The game Hey! Pikmin comes out on July 28 for the New 3DS and has some differences from other games in the franchise. Despite mediocre reviews, THQ’s Homefront has already sold a million copies. This marks the half-way point for the company’s break-even point for the game.
