Popular battle royale game H1Z1 launched its open beta on PlayStation 4 earlier today, but many players have said they haven’t been able to access the game yet. Despite Daybreak Games saying servers would unlock and players could begin playing in the open beta at 11am CT, the game immediately had server issues. During a long interview with IGN, 343 Industries studio head Bonnie Ross talked about Halo Infinite and the efforts of the software house on the franchise. Interestingly, Ross hinted at Halo Infinite as a “spiritual successor”, and revealed that Microsoft considered a smaller game like ODST to fill the gap between Guardians and Infinite. “There has been a lot of introspective time to really reflect on what have we done as 343, where have we made mistakes, where have we hit it right, and what does Halo mean to all of us,” Ross said....
Halo Infinite has made its debut at E3 2018, but from the looks of it the game will still take quite a while before actually be in a shape we can watch live or even release. PlayStation Blog has announced the next pair of free games coming to PS Plus in August. The two coming very soon will be the recently released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, along with indie battle royale Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Although only a campaign rebuff, the remastered first-person shooter will make its way a bit early, coming on July 28. It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about Hitman 5. There have been some signs, a trailer before E3 last year, but more often than not there have only been ubstantiated rumors. Numerous sites have apparently has stumbled across a job listing, where IO Interactive is looking for several candidates to work on one of the “most exciting projects” in the company’s history. There’s certainly no confirmation that this “exciting project” would be Hitman 5, but it does open the door to speculation…again....
