Google’s AirDrop-competitor Nearby Share is a nifty file-sharing feature for Android phones and Chrome OS devices. Now, an extension of the same is expected to reach Chrome OS, which recently got hold of the functionality late last year. A new “Self Share” feature, in addition to Nearby Sharing, is reportedly being tested to allow you to share files between your own devices. Here’s how it will work. Google will now let you clear your last 15 minutes of saved search history. Project Manager of Google Search, JK Kearns, made the announcement in a blog post on Thursday. The privacy-focused feature is starting out on iOS, but will also roll out on Android later this year. You may have noticed that your options for clearing your mobile Google search history before today were: “delete today”, “delete custom range”, “delete all time” and “auto-delete”....

Well it turns out that it was, and the guessing game is over as to what the next box art for GTA V will look like. Released earlier this morning in an official reveal by Rockstar, this Grand Theft Auto box art is what you’ll be purchasing come September. The box art reveal came with no new revelations as to the new features in the upcoming game, but new GTA V screenshots were recently released a few days ago....

Another bout of GTA release date rumors hit the web over the last couple of days. Today, developer Guerrilla Games announced that Horizon Forbidden West has finally gone gold ahead of its release on February 18. Call Of Duty: Vanguard players browsing their Combat Records has made an interesting discovery under the Game Modes tab. Gun Game is suddenly listed among the game modes, which is odd because Gun Game is not currently playable in Call Of Duty: Vanguard. This listing doesn’t guarantee that Gun Game is about to be added to Call Of Duty: Vanguard, but we’re still 99% sure that it is. Gun Game, which first appeared in Call Of Duty: Black Ops, is a free-for-all mode in which players compete to get a kill with every one of a series of designated guns (usually around 20 guns in all)....

The Orange box was one of the best gaming deals available on the market back when it launched nearly a decade ago, and today it has been made available to play on Xbox One through backwards compatibility. The collection contains a handful of popular Valve games, with one of them being the critically-acclaimed Half-Life 2. According to a new rumor, a Half-Life Tactics game has been in the making for quite some time for Nintendo Switch. The game, as reported by YouTube channel Valve News Report, was apparently pitched by Nintendo itself. The source is “uncorroborated,” so we don’t have any particular confirmation of the actual existence of the title, but sure enough the rumor is interesting. From what we hear, Nintendo approached Valve for an exclusive Half-Life game of sorts, and started to prototype it....

During Halo Infinite‘s campaign, players must enter the Repository to save The Pilot but can also find a Skull Collectible within this location. This Skull is known as the “Grunt Birthday Party Skull” and has a rather comical effect on gameplay. It will cause confetti to spray out whenever Master Chief lands a headshot on a Grunt. Like a few other secrets in Halo Infinite, the Repository Skull requires players to perform a particular action during one part of a mission, which will result in a hidden portion of the level becoming accessible later on....

With filming recently wrapped, and San Diego Comic-Con on the horizon, Netflix has revealed a first proper look at the main characters from their upcoming The Witcher series. Previously we have seen some leaked behind the scenes footage where soldiers costumes looked a little off, and a makeup test of Henry Cavill, looking less than convincing in a pretty bad silver wig. Thankfully, the images released by Netflix go a long way towards helping to quell fears about how the show would look....

This year’s Hellboy reboot was both a critical and commercial failure. The film scored a 19% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has ended its box office run with a worldwide total of $40 million against a $50 million budget. Owen Gleiberman of Variety described the film as “a pile of origin-story gobbledygook”, while Eric Kohn of Indiewire said it was “an overzealous attempt to revisit the content of del Toro films without matching their sophistication”....

We got the unfortunate news recently that the the PlayStation 4-exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn has been delayed into 2017, missing its original 2016 launch window. While this is an occurrence that gamers are used to by now, we never really got an explanation from the developer regarding why they delayed the game.
