New World will go down from time to time for regular server maintenance and experience a period of downtime. During this period, the developers are hard at work implementing improvements and fixes to improve players’ experience when the servers go back online. Developers Confirm a Third Open Beta and More! This morning, developers for Arc System Works‘ upcoming Guilty Gear Strive released a statement about the game following its open beta and subsequent delay. Back at the start of February, gamers were given a chance to play the game for several days and fill out a form with their feedback. Following this open beta, the game received a delay until June 11th, 2 months from its initial anticipated April release....

343 Industries revealed the date of the Halo 3 servers being shut down. The online multiplayer servers for Halo games on Xbox 360 will close on January 13, 2022. Meanwhile, the studio spoke on the shutdown: As the player base of these games on Xbox 360, maintaining these legacy services today requires significant time and resources, which impacts upcoming new projects. Additionally, the digital sales of the Xbox 360 Halo games have slowed down, and physical sales halted back in 2018....

This fall, Halo 4 will be featured at the MLG Championship in Dallas, Texas during the week of November 2nd, 2012. The competition will feature the shooter just prior to its release on the Xbox 360. Held in the Dallas, the MLG Championship will finish off the MLG fall season. More details are promised from MLG in the coming weeks concerning the teams that will be competing in Halo 4, and the prizes that will be available for the victors....

It looks like 343 Industries has plans for Halo 4 after its initial release, the company says that it plans on using title updates for the popular shooter to not only fix things, but to “grow features and options” as well. In a recent interview with the Official Xbox Magazine, 343’s Jessica O’Shea explained the developer’s philosophy on title updates. “We are treating title updates very differently for Halo 4 and rather than simply using them as opportunities for simple bug fixes, we are thinking of them as a way to sustain and grow features and options, so it is possible you could see saved films made available for campaign at some time in the not-too-distant future....

Halo: Combat Evolved, a name that is synonmous with both the Xbox and the Halo series. Though, Bungie recently revealed that they intially “hated” the idea. According to Bungie Microsoft forced the now classic subtitle on the developer because they didn’t think that just Halo was a good marketing move. It has been a while since we have had a Halo game on the PC. We recently got a map builder that allowed us to play custom games, but that’s just not the same. It seems the wait is over, as the new Halo: Infinite is coming to both the Xbox One and PC. Microsoft announced the new Halo game at E3, where they also said it would be coming back to the superior gaming platform (sorry)....

The collaborations for Fortnite continue. This time, two of the most prominent names in the world of Football are joining the Fortnite Icon Series: England’s Captain and Tottenham Hotspur’s striker Harry Kane, alongside the German player of Borussia Dortmund, Marco Reus.
