Turbo Boosts and Mini-Turbo Boosts occur in Mario Kart Tour when you are going across corners at max speed, creating small particle effects on your tires.

After getting this effect and letting go of the turn, you will be given a small speed boost to help you complete the race faster. These boosts are also a part of today’s weekly challenges, which will reward you Grand Stars should you complete them.

But how on earth are you meant to do 30 in a single match? Well, let us help you out.

How to complete “Do 30 Mini-Turbo Boosts in a single match” challenge

So, what I did for this was turn Manual Drift OFF and keep Smart Steering on. I then went to a GP that had the Yoshi Circuit track in it, clicked on any character, and loaded up the match in 50CC.

I then proceeded to focus my attention not on the race or using any items that I grabbed, but just focusing on constantly steering around corners and waiting for a blue particle effect to appear on my wheels, letting go to get the first of mini-boosts. Even if I was driving into walls, I knew smart steering would still move me forward and sooner or later, the particles would return.

I proceeded to continue this around every corner of the track, taking my time and keeping track of how many times I had mini-boosted in my head until I reached 30. I continued to do mini-boosts until I reached the finish line, however, to be sure.

After completing the race in 8th place, I returned to the main menu to see I had completed the challenge, ticking one more off of the list.
