Chocobo GP puts you behind the wheel as some of your favorite Final Fantasy characters. This includes both villains, heroes, side characters, and even summons. Regardless of your favorite, you will find yourself facing Gilgamesh in the Story mode.

The prologue introduces Chocobo GP’s mechanics to you and tasks you with beating Gilgamesh in a race. However, Gilgamesh is no slouch and can put up a challenge, especially if you are new to kart racers or play on Master difficulty.

How to beat Gilgamesh in the prologue of Chocobo GP on Master Difficulty

Gilgamesh is faster than you, but you can take advantage of drifting and boost around corners to gain and keep the lead. But you need to watch out for his special, which can easily put you out of the race and cause you to lose.

We recommend staying close to Gilgamesh and waiting for your special to charge. Once it does, drop back just enough to let Gilgamesh get in front of you. Once he is, use your special and blast him to last place. This will give you enough of a lead where his special cannot hit you, and Gilgamesh cannot catch up.
