Halo Infinite has several new features due to the game taking on a free-to-play model. One change to the game is the progression system via a Battle Pass. The battle pass is where players will find most cosmetics in the game, but leveling the pass up can be slow. Thankfully, there are boosts that players can use to expedite the leveling process.

Players can head to the game lobby menu to activate Boosts in Halo Infinite. Once users select the preferred game mode from the menu, players can scroll down to the Boosts tab before searching for a lobby, where players can choose the Boosts they’d like to use and see how many Boosts they have in their inventory. If players have no Boosts in their possessions, they won’t have the option to increase their experience gains.

Try to coordinate the Boosts with challenges nearing completion, as they will double the experience for each of these challenges. Weekly challenges will offer more experience, so make sure to check what challenges are active by selecting the Battle Pass icon in the game’s main menu or multiplayer lobby.

While the Boosters aren’t a permanent solution for the slow experience gains players are frustrated with, the team at 343 Industries has stated that they are actively working on a more permanent solution for progression in Halo Infinite.
