Ghostwire: Tokyo features a plethora of supernatural beings that can be either hostile or friendly. During the gameplay, players will often come across wayward spirits that they can interact with. These friendly entities were once human beings who vanished and were transformed into spirits during the strange catastrophic event in Tokyo.
You can absorb these spirits in Ghostwire: Tokyo by holding the L2 trigger on your controller. Absorbing a spirit requires an item called the Katashiro paper doll, which can hold a certain number of spirits at a time. Simply approach a spirit and interact using the said control to collect it.
What to do with Absorbed Spirits in Ghostwire: Tokyo
Once you’ve absorbed a spirit in your Katashiro paper doll, you can keep it stored for as long as you desire. Absorbing spirits keeps them safe from Hannya, the main antagonist in Ghostwire: Tokyo, and other hostile Visitor spirits. Later on, you’ll get the chance to free these stranded spirits into the world beyond.
Ghostwire: Tokyo is a single-player action game that features unique fighting mechanics. The game is developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks. It’s available on PlayStation 5 console and Microsoft Windows platforms.
