Earning Gold in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is vital if you plan on staying alive long enough to see the whole board. After raking in enough of it through various activities, you can spend it on just about anything. Take the Blacksmith, for example. Once the Kingdom of Brighthoof has been freed from the Dragon Lord, you can purchase plenty of in-game perks, including but not limited to inventory capacity.

Total cost of maxing out inventory capacity in iny Tina’s Wonderlands

After ridding the invading army in the campaign’s early stages, the Blacksmith will offer you a free upgrade. After that, you will be expected to fork over Gold for ammo, upgrades, and more space in your inventory. The highest upgrade you can obtain for your inventory is Backpack SDU 13. Owning the maximum upgrade will give you 75 slots in your inventory.

How much Gold is needed?

When roaming the stores of Brighthoof, you will be able to unlock new Backpack SDU slots. Simply access the vending machine at the Blacksmith’s store, and you will be able to select the appropriate upgrade.

The first SDU will cost 3,000 Gold, and then will multiply three times per upgrade. For example, Backpack SDU 2 costs 9,000 Gold, Backpack SDU 3 costs 27,000 Gold, and so on and so forth. Maxing out the SDU, however, will not set you back any more than 300,000,000 Gold.
