Triangle Strategy is a story-driven strategy role-playing game directed by Team Asano, the people behind Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler, and developed by Artdink, the team behind Final Fantasy Tactics. Given the length of all the titles mentioned, you may be wondering how long Triangle Strategy is itself.

Triangle Strategy is 20 to 21 chapters long, depending on the ending you pursue. Each chapter is divided into two to three parts and the story branches out often. However, they converge back together at certain points. There is a specific route you need to take if you want to unlock the game’s real ending, but every other outcome is arguably just as enjoyable.

How long does it take to beat Triangle Strategy?

One full playthrough of Triangle Strategy is roughly 40 hours. However, it can be long or shorter depending on the difficulty you’re playing at… or if you skip texts.

Unless you save before the story branches out, you can’t hop between routes either. Even after you’ve finished the game once, you still can’t skip to its end. It’s not only items and characters that carry over to New Game+ but levels as well. Neither you nor the enemy start at level zero.
