How does Mending Enchantment work?
It is important to remember that every tool and weapon in the game has limited durability. Mending Enchantment is the solution to that problem. You are able to keep your favorite items forever with the right use of this enchantment. It allows you to automatically repair your pickaxe, sword, or shovel just by gaining XP (experience).
The easiest way to repair your item is to put it in your right hand and then go mobbing or mining for ores. This way you can mend the tool of your choosing very efficiently.
How to apply the Mending Enchantment in Minecraft?
In order to apply the Mending Enchantment to a tool or a weapon in Minecraft, you need to have an anvil. Then if you have enough XP you can combine the tool with the Mending Book and make your item enchanted with Mending.
