Remasters and remakes have become a trend lately. And well, they aren’t bad. Provided they know how to make them. For Blizzard, it hasn’t worked. Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 were just horrible. Or well, the latter more than anything. Yet, for other companies, it has worked perfectly. Resident Evil has created some amazing remakes and it’s working on its next one for Resident Evil 4. Also, The Last of Us Part 1 remake was amazing. And now it seems that in the world of remasters, the next one is Horizon Zero Dawn. Apparently, there are rumors of a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster and a Horizon Zero Dawn multiplayer in the works.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster Could Benefit From the PS5’s Capabilities

A Horizon Zero Dawn remaster wouldn’t be too crazy. It isn’t something new that previously launched games are being remade for the new consoles. After all, the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S have great power capable of pushing 60fps, 4K, and more. There are some games out there that take advantage of this and developers surely know that they can sell more by remastering a game. There might be a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster in the future for PS5.

Beyond that, we could also get a Horizon Zero Dawn multiplayer mode as well. This will work as a spin-off from the original game which could not be bad. There are a lot of franchises launching multiplayer games from their original titles. Resident Evil Re: Verse is launching soon as well as Dragon Ball: The Breakers. Both of which come from old sagas. With how the world of Horizon Zero Dawn is, we can only wait to see some sort of battle royale like Fortnite or something a bit more creative. Whether it happens or not, a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster would be a great idea for those who want to experience it again in a more powerful console.
