Hollow Knight was a fantastic game. I’m sure you all remember July 26th, 2017 very well, for it was the day we reviewed it. We liked it and awarded Hollow Knight the coveted 5 stars out of 5. With that sense of achievement, there’s no need to feel hollow any longer.
At the time we said:
Of course, you all remember that well. Luckily for us developers, Team Cherry has announced a new sequel entitled Hollow Knight: Silksong. The new game will star Hornet from the original game. Originally Silksong had been announced as DLC, however, it now stands on its own as a fully fledged sequel to Hollow Knight.

I for one am pleased we’re seeing a full sequel, sure, we’ll have to wait longer to see it, but all good things come to those who wait. In the meantime, we can all keep replaying the original Hollow Knight to death. Oh, and of course we can all go back and re-read our review of it. No word of the release date yet, it will, however, it will launch on the Switch and PC first, with Xbox and PS4 releases to follow. We’ll keep you updated when we know more.
