Listen Now to “Overture to the Unwritten” Music for Hogwarts Legacy
The performance of Overture to the Unwritten was led by conductor Nathan Hofheins and supported by a wide range of musicians from Utah. They’re mainly made up of students and artists from the University of Utah, BYU, and the Salt Lake Symphony Orchestra. The following video was filmed on location at Big Idea Music Studios in Sandy, Utah, and Media Grabbers in North Salt Lake City, Utah.
Blending together both familiar and original sounds, the orchestra guides us through Hogwarts and beyond within 5 minutes. While the footage is on a projector behind and in front of the musicians, there are snippets of gameplay in between the sounds. Some of it is more clear than others due to the ever-changing atmosphere of the video.
Fans who are anticipating the release of Hogwarts Legacy can now stream or purchase Overture to the Unwritten. Additionally, all original compositions will be made available on the launch day for the title of Hogwarts Legacy (Original Video Game Soundtrack). Dedicated fans might also be interested in Hogwarts Legacy (Study Themes From the Original Video Game Soundtrack), another set of tunes with the purpose of more quiet and relaxing periods.
Hogwarts Legacy is flying onto PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store this February 10, 2023. The Nintendo Switch version will arrive at a later time. Standard and Deluxe Editions are available for pre-order now.
