Warner Bros. recently confirmed the system requirements for Hogwarts Legacy on PC, and now the game’s publisher Portkey Games has revealed more details relating to the graphics modes available to players that will be playing the game on the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series S or X.

As consoles become more and more like PCs, more games tend to have different graphics modes to choose from depending on your preference. Like most other games, Hogwarts Legacy will have a Performance and a Fidelity graphics mode to choose from.

Hogwarts Legacy PS5 And Xbox Series Graphics Modes

The Performance Mode will target 60 FPS while the Fidelity Mode will aim for 30 FPS. The game will also have Variable Refresh Rate support, so if you have a compatible TV, you’ll be one of the few who are able to take advantage of this feature.

As for the last generation version of Hogwarts Legacy, no details have been revealed by the developers regarding the graphics modes available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X should be capable of running the game at a resolution higher than 1080p at around 30FPS.

We also got a voice-actor-related reveal for Hogwarts Legacy this week. It included Simon Pegg who will be playing Nigellus Black, the man who is considered to be the worst headmaster in the history of Hogwarts. The game is probably one of the most highly anticipated games for this year, but JK Rowling hasn’t been doing it any favors due to her often deplorable online presence. The developers have confirmed that JK Rowling has nothing to do with the development of Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy puts players in the world of Harry Potter but far before the events of the books and movies. Hogwarts Legacy will be launching very soon on February 10 on current generation consoles. The last generation consoles will be getting the game on April 4, while the Nintendo Switch version has been delayed all the way to July 25.
