While preview members have had it for a while, soon everyone will be able to enjoy the wonders of Xbox One Backwards Compatibility on the New Xbox One Experience. Of course, with a feature like this, the question is, what games will be available. We’ve had lists, and seen those lists change over the last few months, but now Microsoft has released the full list of Xbox One Backwards Compatible games.
These 104 titles will be ready to go the moment the feature launches to everyone on November 12th. “Today, I’m happy to unveil to you the first 104 Xbox One Backward Compatibly games,” said Mike Ybarra, Director of Program Management for Xbox. “Some of my favorites are included, like the complete Gears of War catalog, Assassin’s Creed II, Fallout 3, Borderlands, and Castle Crashers. The full list of the first 104 games is below and can be found at the Backward Compatibility page at Xbox.com. And, as I said at gamescom, going forward, all Xbox 360 games available through Games With Gold after Nov. 12 will be playable on Xbox One.”
This is just the beginning though, so look forward to more games coming to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility in the future, “including fan favorites like Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite and Skate 3.”
