Taylor Swift is one of the biggest pop stars in the world. The singer surprised fans when she announced her new album, Midnights, at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor Swift has just unveiled the full track list for the upcoming album. The announcement surprised fans because while a new studio album from Taylor is always welcome, they have been waiting for news surrounding her next re-recorded album. For those not in the know, Taylor Swift has been re-recording and releasing her old albums to much fanfare, and it’s been a while since her last rerelease.

Since the announcement at the VMAs, Taylor Swift has provided the names of songs from the album on her social media accounts, leading up to the final one. Taylor Swift described the album as being 13 tracks about what kept her up at night, which has led fans to speculate that the album will be similar to her last new bodies of work, Folklore, and Evermore, regarding tone and overall direction of the songs.

Taylor Swift’s new album, Midnights, comes out on October 21. However, the singer has not revealed if fans should expect a music video and lead single before the album comes out.

Who Besides Taylor Swift Has An Album Coming Out On October 21?

THE LONELIEST TIME ? Oct 21. I’m quite fascinated by loneliness. It can be really beautiful when you turn it over and look at it. Just like love, it can cause some extreme human reactions.

The music industry can be a competitive place. Although there is much excitement regarding Taylor’s new album, pop fans should know that Carly Rae Jepsen has a new album releasing the same day. Carly’s album is called The Loneliest Time. She has already released several songs from the album, including Beach House.

Artists often avoid releasing new albums the same day bigger artists do. However, in the age of streaming, it doesn’t matter as much as it did when fans had to buy music.

Which of those two albums will you listen to first on October 21st?
