Soon after the Windows event, Microsoft revealed the official system requirements of Windows 11. The Redmond giant has now listed all the Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm CPUs eligible for the Windows 11 update. Yeah, your PC will get the Windows 11 update if you have one of the processors listed below. Notably, Microsoft has not listed 7th-Generation Intel Core processors and lower in the official list of CPUs that support Windows 11. That means 8th-Gen Intel Core CPUs (released in 2018) or above will get the Windows 11 update. However, it is likely that the company will relax the CPU requirements ahead of the release.
AMD CPUs Compatible with Windows 11
Windows 11 is compatible with AMD processors, including Athlon, EPYC, and the Ryzen series. The next-gen Windows update will be available for Ryzen CPUs that are built on Zen+ architecture or above. That means all AMD processors launched after 2018 will receive the Windows 11 update.
