Blizzard Entertainment has announced a single player adventure mode called “Curse of Naxxramas”, for Hearthstone. This single player PVE Adventure Mode allows players to progress through one of five unique wings of a dungeon, earning new cards by defeating bosses. Each boss has their own unique cards and Hero Powers.
In Curse of Naxxramas, a total of 30 new cards will be added to Hearthstone. A preview of some of the new Hearthstone cards can be found over on Battle.net.
Curse of Naxxramas will also introduce a unique game board with new interactive corners. Blizzard also says that there will be nine unique class challenges added to Hearthstone, which will reward players with new class-specific cards.
Hearthstone’s new adventure mode will be rolled out over the course five weeks, each week opening a new wing of the dungeon. The first wing will be free for all players to play, but the four remaining parts of the dungeon must be purchased with in-game gold or cash.
