HBO has cast the role of Joel’s brother, Tommy, in their television adaptation of The Last of Us. Gabriel Luna will be taking on the role of Tommy, an ex-soldier that has begun a peaceful settlement with his wife.

Luna is known for his roles on Agents of SHIELD as Robbie Reyes (or better known as Ghost Rider) and the Rev-9 in Terminator: Dark Fate. He has also appeared in other television series such as Wicked City, Rosewood, True Detective, and Matador.

Luna will be starring alongside Game of Thrones’ Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal, who will be playing the roles of Ellie and Joel. Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckman are set to produce and write The Last of Us television series.

As of right now, HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us does not have an official release window, but it is set to begin filming this summer. In the meantime, Sony reportedly has a remake of the original game in the works for PlayStation 5, and The Last of Us Part II is available now.
