HBO Max has renewed the comedy series Minx for Season 2. The series, created by Ellen Rapoport, premiered on the streaming service in March and concluded on April 14. The series Minx takes place in the 1970s, centered around the idealistic feminist Joyce (Ophelia Lovibond). She collaborates with the low-rent publisher Doug (Jake Johnson) to create the first erotic magazine for women. Idara Victor, Jessica Lowe, Lennon Parham, Michael Angarano, and Oscar Montoya also star in the HBO Max comedy series. Paul Feig and Dan Magnante, under Feigco Entertainment and Rapoport, executive produce the series. Ben Karlin, Rachel Lee Goldenberg, and Jake Johnson also executive produce the show. Goldenberg directed the pilot. Rapoport shared her excitement for the Season 2 renewal saying, “All of us at ‘Minx’ have been blown away by the passionate response from audiences worldwide, who have mashed-up, TikTok-ed, and fanfic-ed us into a renewal.”
