A mere two days after its release, HBO Max has edited and reuploaded Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. This is due to mistakes that had been noticed immediately upon its release.
IGN reports that the first mistake, which fans noticed immediately and shared on social media, was when a childhood picture of a girl who was thought to be Hermione Granger actress Emma Watson was shown in the special. However, the actress pictured was Emma Roberts of Scream Queens and American Horror Story. The picture had been posted on Roberts’ Instagram years ago. The mistake was addressed in a statement to the wrap, and the adjustment has now been made.
Regardless of these mistakes, Return to Hogwarts has gotten much acclaim for being a magical trip down memory lane. It was a celebration of the acclaimed and beloved Harry Potter film series that has spawned even more attractions and future films, such as the upcoming film Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
