One of the biggest announcements out of Microsoft’s E3 conference this year was the reveal of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The remastered package includes Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4 and will be  available exclusively on the Xbox One. At least, that’s what we were told. It’s no secret that the PC community has been trying to get Microsoft’s attention to bring back the franchise to PC (the first two titles were available on PC), but their demands have seemingly gone unnoticed.

If we’re speaking in favor of the rumor, SteamDB  has revealed the existence of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 3 in Steam’s database. Furthermore, all of these applications were updated a mere three months ago, which shows us that they’re still active to some extent. Hidden Steam groups for the aforementioned titles have even been uncovered, further boosting theories circling the net.
