The latest Halo Bulletin offers the first good look at the new and improved Halo: Combat Evolved that will feature in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Check out the two screenshots above, which are using the original game assets rendered in 1080p resolution. These two are from the multiplayer component, showing Battle Creek and Chill Out maps from the original game. Along with the screenshots 343 Industries answered a few questions about the game.
The maps that were exclusive to PC for Halo: CE (and Halo 2) will be available in both custom games and Matchmaking.
While Halo: The Master Chief Collection will include the enhanced Anniversary Edition release from the Xbox 360, that title only improved the single player campaign. The multiplayer will remain in the original engine, but will run at 1080p and 60fps. The only multiplayer that did receive a full makeover was Halo 2: Anniversary, which will include six remastered maps.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be released on November 11th exclusively for Xbox One.
