Despite not getting any major updates over the holidays, it looks like 343 Industries has been hard at work fixing the many issues that have plagued Halo: The Master Chief Collection since launch. Many of the problems have already been fixed, with the matchmaking experience feeling a whole lot better than it did a couple of months ago. However, there is still a ways to go and today we got a look at what is in store in the coming weeks from 343.

Achievements seem to be the order of the day, with an update scheduled for tomorrow that will deliver them for the newly added Spartan Ops mode. This is great news for Achievement fans, especially considering the original mode in Halo 4 lacked Achievements as well. On top of this, it looks like the massive amount of Achievements players can earn in Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s multiplayer will be expanding even further with “some additional ones” promised.

Beyond tomorrow’s update 343 has a few more fixes that are ready to go and just need to complete the certification process. These updates will address “UI and a variety of other areas”. Unfortunately no further information, including when to expect the update was given so we’ll just have to keep checking to find out more.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available now exclusively for Xbox One.
