After six seasons have passed, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is getting one of the highly requested new features. No, not Custom Game Browser or mod support (although they are coming “soon”). But new armor permutations for Elite player model. Yes, 343 Industries has confirmed that Halo: MCC Season 7 will be adding new Elite armor designs for Halo 3.

The upcoming update continues the trend of expanding the Halo universe lore where UNSC and Elite/Sangheili group Swords of Sanghelios work together to develop new technologies. If Season 5: Anvil has showcased some of the developmental fruits of the UNSC’s labor through new Spartan armor pieces, then the aptly named MCC Season 7: Elite will be showing off seven Sangheili techs.

  • Keepward and General
  • Seneschal and Scion
  • Oosona and Artisan
  • and the one on the header image is Accord.

And of course, as seen at the top of this article, a selection of Energy Sword colorizations will be added to Halo: MCC Season 7 as well. Aside from fancy new skins, Halo 3 maps Waterfall and Edge and Halo: Combat Evolved‘s campaign and matchmaking are also getting new visual updates. Only for classic graphics though, in the case of Combat Evolved. 343 Industries promises that it is going to reveal more of Halo: MCC Season 7 and the Elite armor in the future, so for now here are the names of the new Energy Sword skins:

  • Evocati’s Edge.
  • Necroplasma.
  • Light of Joori.
  • Kaidon’s Guard.
  • Darkstar.
  • Bloodblade.
  • Lance of Suban.
