Halo Infinite is possibly the most anticipated game of the year. Launching in just under a month, fans have been desperate to get their hands on the title. From the weekend beta tests, fans have been able to see how much work 343 is putting into infinite. While some might be upset over the launch separating multiplayer and campaign, the paid game will still include some great incentives. Many sources have already been questioning the release timing of the multiplayer. Seeing how that portion is going free, it would make sense for Microsoft to release it early and drum up hype. However, Microsoft has updated the store to remove this November date. On the Xbox store, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer listing had its launch release date reverted to December 8.

What Does This Halo Infinite Multiplayer Listing Date Mean?
While some might assume the is an attempted cover-up, them changing the date could be indicative of their secrecy. Perhaps this was in an internal date of some note, as Halo Infinite multiplayer listing for a Monday just seems like a less than ideal situation. Even still, there’s nothing directly disconfirming the suspected date, fans will just have to wait and see themselves. Despite much anticipation and an expectation to deliver games quickly, the listing could have just included a wrong date. As it’s less than a month away, 343 is more than likely working on the final polish for the title. Hopefully, this includes giving the multiplayer experience a touch-up. Giving the game time to release alongside the single-player campaign gives much better tools to developers working on finishing the title. Aside from any leaks, Halo Infinite is still scheduled to be released this December 8 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X with a simultaneous PC launch.
