Halo Infinite did not launch without Co-Op multiplayer. Instead, fans were promised the inclusion of the game mode later in the game’s life. Originally due to release at the start of Halo Infinite’s Season 2, the Co-Op multiplayer was eventually pushed into the foreseeable future. Halo Infinite developers are finally ready to start testing Co-Op via flights, similar to how Halo Infinite’s multiplayer was tested before release.

How to join the Halo Infinite Co-Op Flight

There are a few steps to joining the flight for Halo Infinite’s Co-Op multiplayer. Follow the steps outlined below to be eligible for the highly anticipated test run:

  • Sign up for the Halo Insider program. This simply requires players to log in with an existing Microsoft account or create a new one to join the program. Make sure you have the ability to play Halo Infinite’s campaign. This can be done by purchasing the game or by having an active Xbox Game Pass subscription. Players also need to opt-in to the Network Co-Op flight program. This can be done once the flight goes live. After those steps are complete, players simply need to wait for the flight to begin, then jump in with friends to check it out.

How to play Co-Op in Halo Infinite

Joining a Co-Op game (once the ability to do so is available) will simply require players to form a fireteam and choose the Start Co-Op option, which will be visible in the main menu. From there, players should be treated to a cooperative experience.
