Halo’s soundtrack has always been good, nay great enough to hold its own. Whether in-game or during a cinematic, a good deal of Halo’s atmosphere is sold on the beautiful sounds produced by Bungie and 343 Industries alike.

That said, Muse’s Knights of Cydonia sure does make for one heck of a party piece in this latest gameplay launch trailer for Halo 5: Guardians.

Introducing the seeming betrayal of Master Chief and new good guy and partial Halo 5: Guardians protagonist, Jameson Locke, this latest video has quickly become one of our favourites.

If you thought Halo was all about its multiplayer, after this you may very well want to rethink that.

Launching October 27th and sporting an array of improvements and additions, like the highly anticipated new mode Warzone, Halo 5: Guardians will very likely do what Halo has always done best, sell a helluva a lot of consoles.

You don’t even have to like the franchise, but you’ve got to admit that it’s hard to say no.
