The Hallmark Channel has officially launched its “Summer Nights” television event. With this comes a new movie titled Two Tickets to Paradise, starring Ashley Williams and Ryan Paevey as a pair of heartbroken people determined to make the best out of a bad situation – and maybe find new love along the way.

Hallmark’s Two Tickets to Paradise focuses on Hannah Holt (Williams) and Josh Wyatt (Paevey), two strangers who have been left at the altar but just so happen to stumble upon each other in the park. Meeting each other, Hannah and Josh decide to turn lemons into lemonade and take their honeymoon trips despite their failed weddings, only to find that they both turn up at the same island resort. There they meet Josh’s friend Alice (Mary-Margaret Humes) and decide that the best course of action is to see where fate takes their vacation – together.

Behind the Scenes of Paradise

According to Variety, before appearing in Two Tickets to Paradise, Ashley Williams – a veteran of the Hallmark Channel – previously starred in Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday and Sister Swap: Christmas in the City as a part of Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas.” Paevey, also a veteran of the channel, has starred in three previous Hallmark films, including Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, A Little Daytime Drama, and Coyote Creek Christmas. Mary-Margaret Humes has previously appeared in A Valentine’s Match and A Feeling of Home.

Two Tickets to Paradise is set to be directed by Dustin Rikert (One Royal Holiday) and produced by Island Film Group (Love for Real, You Had Me at Aloha) under Ric Galindez and Roy Tjio, with executive producer Jason Sallee (Sugar Plum Twist, A Holiday in Harlem). Tracy Andreen (A Kiss Before Christmas) and Kevin Taft (Just Seen It) are slated to write the script. Filming for the movie took place at the Royal Hawaiian Resort in Oahu, Hawaii.
