They became a thing, and in 1996, Brad popped the big question when he was filming Seven Years in Tibet in Argentina. The couple looked forward to tying the knot and having a big family.
Unfortunately, the pair split six months after their engagement. Speaking about the incident some five years later, Gwyneth claimed responsibility for the breakup. However, she later attributed the whole situation to her immature age at the time.

Gwyneth disclosed that they are both effective communicators and are very committed to their marriage. She also added that they understand each other’s love language and strive to serve the other person.
