During the Prime Matter Anniversary Show, players got another look at the iggymob title Gungrave G.O.R.E. trailer, a new third-person shooter. In addition, the show gave a little more detail about the upcoming release, which will show the iconic anti-hero’s return. With multiple announcements over the last couple of years, the legendary franchise will finally return this year to a majority of devices with an upcoming fall 2022 release.

Gungrave G.O.R.E. will see a newly redesigned Grave that will also feature added facial animations allowing Grave to express emotions. G.O.R.E. will follow the events of Gungrave: Overdose and V.R., with players continuing the work of the El-Al-Canhel and eradicating the SEEDs. Players will see Grave, and the rest travel around various Southeast Asia locations.

Players will again wield the Cerberus twin handgun and see the “full break action” return from previous franchise titles. But players will see a change in the newest release with G.O.R.E. walking away from the stage clear-type system and opting in for a “half open-world” that players can explore.
