A brand new Gold Edition of developer Spiders fantasy RPG, GreedFall, launches on June 30th, publisher Focus Home Interactive announced today. As these post-launch editions often go, the Gold Edition packages in the complete base game and a brand new GreedFall expansion, titled The De Vespe Conspiracy, for returning players to sink their teeth into. The new edition also includes a few bonus goodies: three lithographs, a double poster map, and sticker sheet.
The new GreedFall expansion promises a new adventure to an uncharted region teeming with fresh gear, enemies, and story beats. You’ll forge alliances, anger a few people in the process, and otherwise engage in deep free-form RPG gameplay, ticking off quests and besting fantastical monsters. In addition to the Gold Edition, Spiders is releasing a next-gen upgrade with a host of enhancements on the same day. These include an upgrade from UHD to native 4K for the visuals, a 60 FPS performance mode, faster loading, and all-around better performance on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players can port their save games to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S to continue their progression. Additionally, the next-gen upgrade is free for all existing owners of GreeFall.
Once again, GreedFall: Gold Edition, the next-gen upgrade, and The De Vespe Conspiracy expansion launch for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on June 30th.
