A brand new trailer for Gotham Knights was shared by Warner Bros. Games and DC today at the Gamescom 2022 opening night presentation, during the presentation, players got another look at the upcoming open-world action RPG and learned that two DC Super-Villains – the iconic Harley Quinn and the shape-shifting colossus Clayface – will be some of the major villains players will encounter, alongside the cold-blooded Mr. Freeze and the secret Court of Owls. The trailer also confirmed a release date of October 21, 2022.
Gotham Knights Villains Trailer Details
The new trailer for Gotham Knights offered a deeper look at the main cast of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin as they take action against these rising criminal underbelly of the city, as well as revealed who the main villains will be.
Gotham Knights focus on the Batman Family as they rise up as the new protectors of Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s untimely death. They must solve mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history and defeat some of the city’s most notorious and dangerous villains.
The description reads:
“An expansive, criminal underworld has swept through the streets of Gotham, and it is now up to these new heroes to protect the city, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. Players must save Gotham from descent into chaos and reinvent themselves into their own version of the Dark Knight.“‘
The new Gotham Knights Villains trailer shows that players can expect to face off against the wild Harley Quinn, the monstrous Clayface, the ruthless Mr. Freeze, and the mysterious Court of Owls – a strange conspiracy group of Gotham’s wealthiest and most powerful families.
Gotham Knights will now officially launch on October 21 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This is four days earlier than the previous release window, players who pre-order will receive the 233 Kustom Batcycle Skin at launch, based on the vehicle from DC’s Detective Comics #233.
