Everyone knew that the latest Gotham Knights game would get more content. The one that was announced just before the game’s release was the 4-player co-op mode for Gotham Knights called Heroic Assault. This one would put our heroes against waves of enemies in an attempt to survive them all. Today, one day before release, we know something new about it. Through the official Twitter account, we know that the new mode for Gotham Knights will star Starro (no pun intended). Some people might know this enemy as the first one to challenge the Justice League back in the comics. So, looking at it, we could be in for something fun.
Gotham Knights Heroic Assault will feature Starro
While Gotham Knights’ story was quite short, players still found a way to spend more time around the iconic city. Getting new armor, taking on crimes, finishing side missions, and so on. Yet, that wasn’t enough to keep people around for long. So, with the new mode releasing for Gotham Knights, it could be a good time to come back. If the developers are to be believed, Heroic Assault will bring a nice mode to keep players engaged for more. How Starro fits into Gotham Knights still remains a mystery but it isn’t long before we find out.

Gotham Knights Developer Teases New Game
Players will be able to download the new update tomorrow for free. We have no idea how good or bad the queues will be. Resident Evil Re: Verse, for example, had a nice launch but then it was hard to find players for a match. So, we’ll have to wait and see if Gotham Knights and Starro offer something to keep players from coming. One thing we hope is that the game doesn’t become similar to Marvel’s Avengers, which, despite the updates, still isn’t that good. It’s up to WB Games now to make this title worth returning for.
