WB Games Montreal, the Developer of Gotham Knights, has confirmed a tease that they are working on a new game. There are no details about this upcoming game except that it will be a AAA console title.

The tease for this new game comes from a job listing in WB Games Montreal’s official site. The job is for a Character Senior Concept Artist, and part of the job description says the following:
While this does show that they are working on a new title, there are no further details on what the game itself might be. This could be a followup to Gotham Knights, or it could be a whole new game entirely.
There is also no information on when this game could come out in the tease from the Gotham Knights developer. There was a nine-year gap between their latest game and Batman: Arkham Origins. Unless this new game has been secretly in development for some time now, we can expect to have to wait a good while before it releases.

Gotham Knights was released to a pretty mixed reception, with many sites giving it poor to average reviews. If this new game does end up being a followup, hopefully, they will take the feedback from Gotham Knights and improve on it to give the members of the Bat Family a better feature. For now, we will just have to wait for an official announcement on what game WB Games Montreal is planning.
