Finally one of the most anticipated games of 2022, Gotham Knights is now available and players can enjoy beating thugs on the streets of Gotham. But always a big portion of Batman’s game is about solving mysteries and puzzles as well. After all, he is the best detective in the world and it would only be true if his apprentices also followed the way of their maestro. One of the puzzles in Gotham Knights is to activate the mechanism in Powers Club and here is how to do it.
How to Activate the Mechanism in the Powers Club in Gotham Knights
One of Gotham Knights‘ many gameplay aspects is solving puzzles. Throughout the game, you will face many different types of puzzles from easy to difficult ones. While some of them will only reward you with XP or times, there are puzzles you must complete in order to progress through the game.
One of the story-related puzzles is in the Powers Club where you have to activate the mechanism in the place. Once you got into Powers Club and dealt with two security guards, you should scan the floor for a blood trail.
If you keep scanning you should be able to notice the Hidden Mechanism of Powers Club. This mechanism shows two sets of wires that go into the next room. To get the mechanism working you need a bust sculpture and a book which are separated on each side of the next room.
In the next room, you will have to deal with even more guards. Once you’ve cleared the room, you will notice the room is divided into two sections. In the left section of the room, you should be able to find the bust sculpture near the piano that you need for the hidden mechanism.
In the right section of the room, you can find the large book you also need for the hidden mechanism of Powers Club. You can locate the book in the corner where the strains are going upstairs.

Once you’ve got both objects, go back to the first room where you took down the two guards. Then by using the objects you’ve just gathered you should be able to activate the dead lamp on the wall. By activating the lamb the floor will open and you can progress with the story.
